SalamAir Airlines Class of Travel

Salam Airways offers two travel classes on all its flights. Services offered to depend on the type of travel class chosen. The different classes of travel offered are as follows:

Economy Class

This class offers comfortable seats with ample legroom and the required pitch. 

• Passengers can pre-book preferred meals or purchase from the onboard menu. Snacks and beverages are available on the onboard menu. The onboard menu is provided in the seat pockets.
• Passengers can select seats when they book online. Passengers can also book an extra seat.

Luban Class

This class offers premium seating with extra legroom. 

• Passengers can get benefits like free seat selection, priority check-in, a free hot meal and free lounge access (Muscat International Airport).
• Passengers get a free checked-in baggage allowance of 40kg and a 14 kg carry-on bag.
• Passengers can cancel/modify Salam Air bookings 24 hours before departure.

SalamAir Airlines Baggage Allowance

The airline’s baggage allowance for Economy class varies based on the fare type. 

For Economy Light, the passengers are allowed to take a carry-on bag of 7 kg. 

For Economy Friendly, the checked-in baggage allowance is 20 kg and a carry-on bag of 7 kg.

For Economy Benefits the checked-in baggage allowance is 30 kg and a carry-on bag of 7 kg.

For the Luban class, the checked-in baggage allowance is 40 kg and a carry-on bag of 14 kg. Passengers can buy extra baggage by weight (10 kg or 15 kg or 20 kg) or by piece during online booking or at the airport. Passengers can carry the sports equipment in the carry-on bag and will be chargeable if it exceeds the weight or dimension limits.

SalamAir Airlines Web Check-in and Boarding Pass

Passengers can do web check-in or mobile check-in, the online check-in is available 24 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled flight departure. Passengers can go to the airline’s website and select the tab ‘Check-in’, add the required information and proceed. Boarding passes can be downloaded and printed.

For mobile check-in download the app and select the mobile check-in option. Enter the required information and proceed. Boarding passes can be downloaded and saved on the mobile. 

Passengers can also check in at the airport using the kiosk machine and download or print the boarding pass. Passengers can also check in at the airport counter and collect the boarding pass.

SalamAir Airlines In-flight Services

Passengers can pre-book meals while doing Salam Air bookings or purchase from the onboard menu. The onboard menu is available in the back pockets of the seats. Snacks and beverages are offered on the onboard menu and can be purchased.  The online menu offers a variety of dietary preferences including vegetarian meals. Passengers travelling in Luban class are provided with a free hot meal.

SalamAir Airlines Frequent Flyer Programme: More on AirSalam

Air offers a frequent flyer programme called ‘More on Air’. To be eligible passengers have to submit at least 10 boarding passes/ticket reference numbers booked within a period of 12 months. For redemptions, passengers will have to visit the airline's office. A voucher will be issued which must be used within 12 months from the date of issue. The voucher cannot be transferred once issued. Passengers can get rewards while booking flight tickets with the airline. The voucher must be used at least 72 hours before the intended travel date.

SalamAir Airlines Onboard Support

Salam Air assists passengers with special needs like expectant mothers, passengers with mobility problems and passengers with medical conditions. Wheelchair and check-in assistance are provided by the ground staff. Passengers can request special assistance while booking tickets with the airline. About SalamAir Airlines Refund & Cancellation

Passengers can cancel Salam Air tickets within 24 hours of booking or 1 hour before the flight and will be fully refunded if the booking date is 7 or more days. Otherwise, a small cancellation fee is charged.
